Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Morning Tour (Option 1)

08.30 AM - ViTravel’s food expert will pick you up at your hotel or any location in the city center. Our food expert will brief you about what to expect while sightseeing and safety instructions before the food tour start.

09.00 AM - We begin at Nguyen Thien Thuat backstreet – The Lively Saigon. You will pass through one of the typical streets of the city with constructions dating back to the 1960s. Along the street are many Vietnamese guitar makers’ stores. There are also many interesting eateries. Mass residential apartment buildings are on the back street. Wandering around here gives you an idea of how lively Ho Chi Minh City is. Get your camera ready for many special moments that come suddenly on the streets. This first walk starts from Nguyen Thien Thuat street and ends at Ban Co market. You will have a chance to try a Vietnamese popular sweetened soup (the desserts made of beans, sticky rice, taro, longan fruit and coconut milk…).

10.00 AM - Travel to districts 10 and 5 to stroll through more typical residential apartment buildings. And again, you will witness Ho Chi Minh city from another angle: the lifestyles on the streets with shops, street food stalls and rickshaws passing.

11.30 AM – Following Hai Thuong Lang Ong & Trieu Quang Phuc streets - the traditional medicine streets in China Town. This is an area concentrated with traditional clinics and medicine herb stores. Walking along the streets, you can smell the herbs and watch the shop owners do their business. Visit Thien Hau Temple (built by Chinese people to worship Ocean Goddess - an important god in their culture).

12.00 PM - Go to a local restaurant for lunch then come back to the hotel around 1.00 pm.

Day 2: Evening tour (Option 2)

Head to the Ben Thanh market in the early evening after being picked up at your hotel to our meeting point at Pho 2000 at the market side, and get ready to be fully immersed in the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh city. It's world-famous street food culture. Hit the streets with our food expert and head to the sidewalk stalls most popular with locals. Enjoy this lively and informal atmosphere alongside locals, sampling special dishes and popular local favourites. Additional information

1. Deposits & Payment Policy:

A deposit of 50% of the total of the tour is required upon confirmation of booking tour. You have peace of mind until 1 months before departure dates. At that point, we would require full prepayment only 60 days before departure for all services by money transfer or credit card payment with all bank transfer charges/ fees to be paid by the client.
Payment is available by bank transfer or OnePay. VAT is 10%. OnePay collects a 50% deposit of the tour total including VAT, plus a 3.5% processing fee on that deposit. Bank transfer has no OnePay processing fee. The exchange rate and exact VND amount are displayed before payment.
After receiving your payment, we will issue the hotel voucher and/or final confirmation itinerary, which can be sent to you by email or chatting texts to you phone’s number.
Price applies to weekdays. Reservations during peak times (Christmas, New Year, Vietnamese Lunar New Year, National Holidays) may be subject to supplementary charges. On public holidays, the surcharge will be from 20 to 30% of the tour price and the ticket price will increase.

2. Booking Amendment:
Flexibility is one of our pride. You can amend your booking when it is customized. Just contact us at tours@vitravel.com.vn with your booking number(s). Our reservations team is happy to amend your booking(s) accordingly.

3. Cancellation Policy:
Non-Refundable:
NON REFUNDABLE deposit of USD$20 per person for hotels and air ticket booking upon services confirmation and US$ 100 per person upon the package tours services confirmation

Cancellations timeline will be charged as follows:

60 days prior to the arrival date: Non Refundable deposit charge and the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels… in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
59 – 31 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 30% per group/booking and plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels… in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
30 days – 15 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 50% per group/booking plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels… in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
14 – 7 days before arrival: Cancellations fee 70% charge plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels… in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
Less than 7 days before arrival Or No show: 100 % charge per group/booking.

*** Nonrefundable deposit and banking service fee will be forfeited in all cancellation cases.

4. Refund of Unused Services:
No refund will be given for any unused service after the trip has commenced.

5. Liability:
ViTravel is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by passengers. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions, and unrest must be borne by the passengers. Passengers are required to have full travel insurance.

6. Travel Insurance:

Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is the passenger’s responsibility to verify whether his/her local health insurance carrier provides coverage while traveling. Please contact your insurance carrier for details.
ViTravel strongly advises that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your tour: the loss of deposits through cancellation lost of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death. A waiver must be signed if insurance is declined.
